Wind Tunnel Announcement

It features time-lapse photography of the building of the site, and glimpses of the RA106 being tested in the new unit. It is suitable for showing on a loop at motor shows or internal events. A press release about the wind tunnel opening will accompany the video.

After Round 3 in Malta the Evolution Class is led by British Team 99 Fountain Worldwide1st4boats.com team of the reigning world champion crew of James Sheppard and Craig Wilson , whilst Italian team 44 Conam Yachts leads the Supersports Class.
The Championship creates a dramatic spectacle, as the sleek yet highly powered racing boats embark upon a series of closely fought off-shore endurance races across Europe and the Middle East. The venues for 2008 are Italy, France, Malta, Tunisia, Spain, Portugal and Bahrain.
Teams from around the world compete in the Evolution or Supersport Class races, staged as seperate races this year.

The third round of the Powerboat P1 World Championship takes place in Valletta, Malta during the weekend 6th- 8th June.

Following a long and distinguished career, which began at the 1993 South African Grand Prix, Rubens will become the most experienced Formula One driver of all time, surpassing the existing record of 256 Grands Prix set by Riccardo Patrese. In honour of this achievement, the Honda Racing F1 Team held a celebratory event - The Rubens Barrichello 257 Golf Tournament - after the Spanish Grand Prix.

Uploaded on May 24, 2008 Cynan Rhodes / ICNsport Footage Type: News Release Restrictions: NoneThe 99 Fountain 1st4boats.com crew of James Sheppard and Craig Wilson took a dominant win in today’s Evolution class Sprint race of the Grand Prix de Marseille, heading home the 88 Kiton Outerlimits OSG Racing boat and the 10 Fantastic 1 Cigarette Racing Team in a dramatic event that had thrills and spills aplenty. The race got off to a controversial start before the boats even reached the first turn as the 99 Fountain boat and the 69 Honeyparty.com had a close shave that left the 69 Honeyparty.com boat limping back to harbour with severe hull damage. In the ensuing confusion, the majority of boats managed to miss the first buoy, allowing the 99 Fountain boat to make a clean escape before building a 20-second lead.
