Uploaded on Mar 22, 2010 Viviana Dal Palù / Eurosport Footage Type: News Release Restrictions: NoneJuho Hanninen and Skoda have made it three different winners from three rounds of this year's Intercontinental Rally Challenge following a dominant victory on Rally Argentina, which finished with a spectacular superspecial stage through the streets of host town Carlos Paz earlier today (Sunday).
The Finn, who drives for the factory Skoda Motorsport team, builds his overall title lead to five points after claiming his first win of the season. Proof of the 28-year-old's impressive performance on the challenging gravel event was underlined by the fact he won 11 of the 15 special stages, despite having to run first on the road on the final day of the rally.
Hanninen's win also marked Skoda's maiden victory of the 2010 IRC and has given the Czech firm a 22-point lead in the IRC manufacturers' standings after three rounds.

The Intercontinental Rally Challenge counter was based at the track, which will host the opening two rounds of the World Touring Car Championship. The races were televised live on Eurosport.
After completing his lap of the circuit and performing a series of donuts for the crowd, Meeke credited his win to Peugeot UK, which is supporting his IRC title campaign with Kronos Racing.

Official launch of the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship

The championship will feature iconic marques including Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford, Lamborghini, Maserati and Nissan.
Renowned motorsport teams have signed up to race and they will compete with the most talented sports car drivers around. The cars are extremely similar in performance so it is down to the driver and his team to make the difference on the track.
GT1 World will also visit some of the world legendary circuits including Spa-Francorchamps, Interlagos, Silverstone, Nurburgring, San Luis and the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi. The championship will run one-hour races, 12 independent teams with two cars each in the same livery.
The FIA GT1 World Championship launch takes place in Paris with the cars being unveiled at the Place Vendome, and speeches from series promoter Stephane Ratel and FIA President Jean Todt. Previously unseen footage of the new cars testing at Paul Ricard will also be included.
