The short animated video below examines the stresses and strains placed on tyres when on-track, and looks at the importance of tyre temperatures and how they are affected by acceleration, braking and cornering.
It is the second in a two-part animation that delves under the skin of Bridgestone’s tyre technology and examines in detail the important role of tyres in motorcycling’s premier class.
